Trust for Public Land & AllTrails Celebrate National Walk to a Park Day
Happy National Walk to a Park Day! At AllTrails, whether it’s a national park, greenspace or local park, we believe everyone deserves access to the outdoors. Not only that – but we all deserve to be within a 10-minute walk to a park. That’s why we’re proud to have joined forces with our partner, The Trust for Public Land, as we celebrate the parks we have and draw attention to the parks we still need.
Unfortunately, today, more than 100 million Americans don’t have access to a park. What’s more – 28 million are children. Our parks foster stronger communities, provide mental and physical health benefits and make our cities happier, healthier and more prosperous.¹
Want to join the movement?! Show your support by getting out and walking 10 minutes to your nearest park on October 10th. Whether you live in an urban, rural or suburban area, we all can benefit from time spent outside. Then, head over to The Trust for Public Land website to check out how you can score a free year of AllTrails Pro by participating in our digital celebration.
Let’s keep the movement going. We’re recognizing our parks today, but the celebration should be ongoing.
